Abdikadir and that of Hon. Chepkong’a, one of the things that came out especially all over the country is that most pastoralists are looking for pasture in August because it is a dry season and they will not be able to cast their votes. I was in Kitale last Saturday for the public hearings on this Bill. The people there told us that this is the time most of them are doing circumcision and, therefore, elections will disrupt their cultural activities. So, August, as much as it is a month in a year, does not commend itself very well for elections in this country."}
