They also give you company and not just reading the Holy Bible throughout. Why can you not play music or Isukuti in old people’s homes? It depends on how the home is structured. You can create a lot of happiness in it. The society that we are moving on to is not where you are likely to find many bulls for wazee to enjoy bull fighting. Indeed, there is a new class of elders who retire, live and die in Nairobi. What will happen to those people? Their grandchildren are in the United States of America (USA) and India. They have become global citizens.We also have to take care of this new class of old people. I think taking them to an old people’s home might not be a bad idea.They will recall their days in the civil service and Parliament together and they will enjoy each other’s company just like the old people are enjoying each other’s company in Njuri Ncheke . It is said that the Kenyan society is rapidly urbanizing and after 2030, the majority of the Kenyan population will be living in town. So, we have to create structures that can take the future of this country into account.That is why we are supporting Sen.
