However, in this Bill, we need to have a clear definition of “technologists”. We do not want to open a Pandora’s box. We need to have a clear demarcation between engineers and other people, just like in other professions. In the medical profession, we have gynaecologist, surgeons and nurses, among other professions. Each specialist has a clear role. You will not see a nurse purporting to do the work of a surgeon. In this case, if we have a clear demarcation of roles of the various specialists, we will not end up with opening a Pandora’s box."}
