First, let me say that it is very hard to give my comments as an engineer. Very many of my friends have talked of engineers as people who are selfish. I am a registered engineer under the Engineers Registration Board and I had to go through a process. For you to be recognised as a professional engineer, you must not just have a degree certificate. It is a matter of demonstration of further training and experience. You have to prove to the Board that, in fact, you can conduct yourself as a professional. Many people who have done engineering do not have to end up being engineers. They can be accountants or lawyers. We know some have joined these professions.
