Any other function which may be assigned pursuant to this Act.” (c) in Part D by— (i) deleting the words “in an emergency” appearing at the heading thereof; (ii) inserting the words “by an animal owner to his own animals” immediately after the word “operations” in paragraph 2. Mr. Temporary Deputy Chairman, Sir, under (7) immediately after the word responsibility, I would like to substitute the word “and” with “or”. Further, I would wish to delete the whole of “(iv)”, so that the new section will read, “Under the responsibility or direction of a veterinary surgeon: (i) the lancing of abscesses; (ii) the treatment of septic wounds; (iii) the administration of injections and medicine."}
