However, point and non-point source pollution does not affect only one section of a river. If chemicals are drained in a river, they are carried downstream by the water. Therefore, at this particular time, I may not zero in on the Mara area. We may have to look at the entire river to see how many fish, indeed, died. This is a difficult exercise because, maybe, a lot of the fish were washed downstream and we may not be able to collect them for purposes of quantifying. I am not able to quantify that loss at this very moment."}
