If I can add my voice to what the Chair said, when the current Deputy Chief Justice appeared before the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, seeking to join the Judiciary, it was her commitment that she is going to uphold the Constitution of Kenya. One of the things that are in the Constitution 2010 is the fact that a judge must retire upon attaining the age of 70. That is what she told that Committee when she was being vetted.
