This is because of management’s failure to follow procurement procedures and involvement in corruption and mismanagement. The PPOA falls under the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Ministry of Finance which has power to recommend for prosecution or stop the contract. Why did they decide to hand over the report to the KACC which may take one or two years while the members are suffering? Why did they not take quick and necessary action to save the farmers?"}
