First of all, I wish to highly commend the Committee for the excellent work that they have done. If I were marking, I would give them a straight Grade A. The Chairperson is an Alliance High School product and has lived up to what we expect of Alliance High School products. I know that Members of my Committee were also in that Committee and the result is excellent. From the outset, I agree entirely with the recommendations that have been made by the Committee which should be embraced by all. Kenya Airways is in a sense special to me because when I was practising in the private sector, I was actually the advocate of the Kenya Airlines Pilots Association. I represented them in many cases before the industrial court. Secondly, when I was in New York, chairing the International Bar Association meeting, I got an appointment by the then President, Daniel Toroitich arap Moi, to be on the board of Kenya Airways. I was appointed at the same time as the late Sen. Mutula Kilonzo. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, at that moment, when I received the appointment as the Attorney-General, I was chairing the board of the KQ.
