Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move:- THAT, Clause 7 of the Bill be amended, by inserting the following new sub clause immediately after sub clause (2) — “(2A) A health care provider shall not be liable under this section, until the provisions of subsection (2) have been implemented.” The purpose of this amendment is to protect health care service providers from incurring liability. They are being encouraged to provide emergency care. They should also be protected."}
