It is, indeed, true that on the 22nd December, 2010, I promised this House that I would ensure speedy and thorough investigation on this matter. I also gave the undertaking that, hopefully, the matter would be concluded within a month. Pursuant to that, I directed the Commissioner of Police to urgently conduct thorough investigation in the subject matter and furnish me with a report. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of the investigation, the Commissioner of Police could not complete the investigations and provide a report within the given period. However, he has submitted a progress report on the subject matter. He is also liaising with the other relevant agencies to get more detailed information as investigations continue."}
