Onyonka","speaker_title":"","speaker":{"id":128,"legal_name":"Richard Momoima Onyonka","slug":"richard-onyonka"},"content":"I believe that there are more conditional grants that have been given to the county governments by the Government of Kenya in form of equipment such as CT scan machines and dialysis machines as well as cancer and heart disease treatment. Even as we do this, we should know that a hospital will not function without personnel to provide the necessary services to patients, right from the moment a patient walks into the facility, in terms of diagnosis of ailment, provision of treatment and discharge of the patient from the facility. We need to ensure that county governments pay their doctors well. They should start recruiting well trained paramedics, including doctors, nurses and other medical personnel required at the hospitals so that Kenyans can receive the services they have been lacking for many years."}
