Temporary Deputy Speaker, my biggest regret, as we proceed on recess is that the women of Kenya who were expecting a lot from this House were not able to get their right or achieve their competition because of real politics. I saw my good friend, the Leader of the Majority Party who was supposed to represent the interest of the deserving women of Kenya celebrating when the Motion was defeated. So, I started wondering aloud whether it was the scheme of the Jubilee Government to float this for public relations and pull it by the other side to bring it down. I leave that to the very many intelligent Kenyans to do proper analysis and know whether the Government was really for this debate or was not for it."}
