A man is a man and a woman is a woman. There is both the biological and the social contrast. It is exactly that, that we are running away from. The legal position that “chairman” represents both is a position that people still debate. That is why people are slowly moving towards being progressive. This is because when we say chairman, it can be a man or a woman. Why presume that we have to say man and that will be inclusive of woman?
