I rise to request a Ministerial Statement from the Minister for Lands on the circumstances under which squatters occupying a 100-acre farm in Kisauni, famously known as “Mwakiringo Settlement Scheme” were evicted, when they had been issued with allotment letters for which they had paid the requisite Government charges. They have now been turned into Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at a time when the country is trying to resettle all the IDPs."}
