It will be recalled that soon after I was transferred to this Ministry in May 2009, the first thing I did was to appoint, after consultation with the Attorney- General and the hon. Chief Justice, a taskforce chaired by the Justice William Ouko to look for ways and means of renewing our Judiciary. The Committee reported to the three of us; the Attorney-General, Chief Justice and myself in July. When I move the Bills in due course, I will be tabling that report on the Floor of the House."}
