I would also like to encourage the Kenya Olympic Team to consider participating in a variety of sports in the next Olympics other than athletics because, that way, we will win more gold medals. Secondly, I would like to encourage the Kenyan team during the next Olympics to brand Kenya properly. Team members should know that their chance at the Olympics is international platforms where you can say everything else you want to tell the world about Kenya. I think it is a good moment to do that. I hope you are going to give a chance to my colleagues. I would like to request the Committee on Labour and Social Welfare not to always just talk here. I hope my friend, Hon. Gichigi is listening. The Committee on Labour and Social Welfare needs to ensure the management of the athletes is fairly improved. They should work very hard. The discipline they put in is too much. They should not be harassed by a cartel of money-hungry Kenyans who misuse their ways of life. This management ought to be protected and engrained in law. Lastly, we really need to use the aspects of the Sports Act to make sure there is more money to sponsor the athletes."}
