There is some interest in it because there was a time the pharmaceutical society tried to give money which I refused. I suspect there is something foul because the Bill will reduce the cost of medicine. We have discussed it in the last two years. When I come next, I will need your indulgence. Medicine that should cost Kshs100 is being sold at Kshs1000. We have proof of that. It will help the poor and country, if you put a peg on it. There is a good Bill we have drafted. I will also bring a Bill to regulate doctors. They are charging much. If these two Bills come into place, the health care for the poor in this country will improve. Every month I buy medicine for my constituents for not less than Kshs300,000 but if I buy the same medicine from India, it costs between Kshs30,000 to Kshs40,000. There is much difference."}
