I believe the key object of these amendments is to make the appointment of Commissioners to CAK move faster and in a more efficient way unlike the way it is being done currently, where it has to pass through Parliament. CAK is just a parastatal like any other where the Cabinet Secretary (CS) in charge of the Ministry appoints commissioners."}
