I want to comment on the Petition by Hon. Simba Arati. Some of the employees who have been dismissed from Lavington Security are from my constituency. It is very unfortunate because employees have a right to fair labour laws. The conditions under which the employees were dismissed are contrary to labour laws. This House discusses and resolves issues that affect the people. We want to call upon the Departmental Committee on Labour and Social Welfare to investigate this matter. As you are aware, the same company does not submit the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) deductions.
