I heard most of you say that we will pass regulations on the new 44A and any other regulations. The Elections Act as drafted, these regulations will not come to the Senate. The regulations on your elections, your Members of County Assembly (MCA), your Member of Parliament (MP) will go to the National Assembly. I am proposing that we have a role in regulations concerning elections. Even on 44A, the National Assembly is the only one that will make those regulations. It is about the jurisdiction of the Senate to determine elections of your MCAs and yourself."}
