When I took over in 2003, I actually managed to talk to leaders, together with the former Member of Parliament, Hon. Kilimo on the issue of cattle rustling and for 14 good years, there was no cattle rustling. I am just surprised that it is continuing. We need to investigate what is happening. There is even an angle where two Marakwet clans are fighting each other. As we speak, over 300 families are being hosted on my side. We are hosting them. These people are cousins and are not interested in killing each other, but we should focus on the cattle rustling menace."}
