The Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development and the Kenya Roads Board (KRB), in particular, should draw a distinction between those roads which are meant to be maintained by the county governments and the roads which are meant to be maintained by the national Government. Secondly, I must speak to the Departmental Committee on Transport, Public Works and Housing. We passed a Bill that stipulated that we were supposed to tarmack five kilometres of road in every constituency. We want a report as to whether that has been done in any constituency in this country."}
