Temporary Deputy Chairlady, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 41 of the Bill be amended— (a) in Sub-clause (2) by deleting the word “principal” wherever it appears and substituting therefor the word “head teacher” (b) in Sub-clause (3) by— (i) deleting the word “principal” and substituting therefor the word “head teacher”; (ii) inserting the words “passport or any other recognised identification document” immediately after the words “birth certificate”; (c) by deleting sub-clause (4). The justification of this amendment is that the proof of age may be by a passport, if a child has one or any other document that may be recognised as an identification document. That is for standard purposes and no any other form of identification on age of a child."}
