One of the mandates of the Committee is to examine reports and accounts of public investments. I am sure the proposals being made in the amendments to the Standing Orders will define what public investments are. It examines reports, if any, of the Auditor-General on public investments and examines, in the context of autonomy and efficiency of public investments, whether the affairs of public investments are being managed in accordance with sound financial and business principles and prudent commercial practices."}
