Murkomen. First and foremost, I take this opportunity to congratulate your good self for being elected as the Speaker of the Senate in the Twelfth Parliament. Secondly, I congratulate all the Members who were elected and nominated. Those of us who made it back from the Eleventh Parliament, I say pongezi. We are looking forward to the Twelfth Parliament and conducting the business of this “upper” House in a robust manner. We have such heavy agendas as you have rightly put across to us. From the time we took oath, I realized we have very able Senators who are up to the task. I second this Motion."}
