I feel it is important that on my own behalf, and on behalf of my constituents of Ugunja, I express my deep condolences to the family of the departed Governor of Nyeri, Hon. Wahome Gakuru. I did not have the opportunity to know Hon. Gakuru well but from the little I have read about him since his demise early this morning, I have come to realise that he was, indeed, a great man.
