In this regard, the Petitioner prays that the National Assembly investigates that matter raised in the Petition and recommend the vacation of office by the Member pursuant to Article 103(1)(c) of the Constitution. This Petition, therefore, stands committed to the Committee on Powers and Privileges for consideration. The Committee is required to examine the issue raised and prayer sought in this Petition and reports its findings in accordance with the provision of Standing Order 227(2).
