{"id":772004,"url":"http://info.mzalendo.com/api/v0.1/hansard/entries/772004/?format=json","text_counter":409,"type":"other","speaker_name":"","speaker_title":"","speaker":null,"content":"It is my prayer that the Ministry, through conducting a national audit of all teachers employed by the Government and their distribution, will ensure justice is done to the millions of school-going children in public schools in Kenya. The issue of distribution and redeployment of teachers to ensure equity and quality in education is too important to be handled casually or be delayed. Plans by the TSC to employ additional teachers beginning 2018 is a step in the right direction, especially when taken together with the fair distribution of available slots. I do not want to belabour the point because it is a very straightforward Motion. We want an audit, so that whatever number of teachers that are there, they should be distributed equitably to all our counties. I beg to move and request Sen. Enoch Wambua to second. Thank you."}
