From the outset, the Mover informed the House that when he first drafted the Motion he wanted to create a select committee to audit the distribution of teachers around the country. However, he was informed that at the time, Parliament was cash strapped. We are in a new year and in a new Parliament. This House listened to new Members here like Dr. Milgo, Dr. Langat and the young lady from the Kenya African National Union (KANU) who had brilliant ideas. I am sure they will make a difference in the management of our education system. I support the move by the distinguished Senator for Kirinyaga County that debate on this Motion be now adjourned to a later date to give an opportunity for that amendment and creation of a select committee."}
