Sakaja, is not here. However, on his behalf, because he is a good friend of mine, I wish to take on that role and welcome the boys. Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, even though I am a Senator representing Homa Bay County, I started my education in Homa Bay County, but continued it in Nairobi County. I went to Rabai Road Primary School in Jericho, Langata Road Primary School, next to Weston Hotel and proceeded to Lenana School in Nairobi. So, I understand the challenges that boys and girls go through when studying in this City. I want to encourage the boys because a lot of effort has been put in promoting the girl-child to an extent that one Member of this honourable House, Sen. Cheruiyot, has come out as a defender of the girl-child, forgetting his own gender."}
