To my mind, we could not, as a House, be seen to relegate such an important Commission to serve on a part-time basis while we know that this country over and over is faced with a myriad of challenges arising from an ever- ballooning wage bill. For this reason, I commend the Chairman for withdrawing these amendments. It sits well right now."}
