Temporary Deputy Speaker. Even in thanking you, I have not disturbed you today because my sugar levels are low because I have not been taking sugar. Otherwise, I would have disturbed you because my card has been on the whole afternoon and it does not show on your screen. I hope the sugar barons have not reached Parliament, so that we are corrupting even our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) system. I just want to speak to two issues. One, when Hon. Osotsi was speaking, he mentioned that these people are known and they are on Harambee Avenue. That means they are either parliamentarians, the President, the Deputy President or the police. He needs to tell us who they are. Secondly, in this House, even in the last Parliament where I was in the Agriculture Committee, we have done a lot of research on issues of sugar and we are wasting energy. It is about corruption and impunity. Let us deal with it. We are now moving from lifestyle audit to ‘sugarstyle’ audit. Let us know how sugary your house is, how sugary your car is, how sugary your person is. Unless we are serious about confronting how sugary we are, we are not going to slay corruption which is bedevilling this country. It is no longer about sugar. It is corruption and impunity, full stop. Hon. Duale has already told us here that he knows who those people are. When the other Members are speaking, they speak looking at other Members across the Floor. What are we looking for? All we need now are names and we deal with them, even if it is the firing squad. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, thank you."}
