I need to read to the House the sentiments of the Japanese lawyers. Indeed, two of them have withdrawn. They are lawyer Yana Dawa and Kijima. Lawyer Kijima said: “The price that was offered and agreed here is extremely high”. I want to provide this letter because I do not want to go through it. He said: “ Payment of 80 per cent of the purchase price is something unheard of in Japan”. All of us in one way or the other must have had some sort of transaction. Where on earth do you pay 80 per cent of the purchase price without a lawyer, valuer, the Attorney-General’s involvement, an inter-ministerial committee and the Ministry of Public Works?"}
