It states that- “Save for a Special Motion-which this is not- a Senator who has a Motion in his or her name may authorize, in writing, another Senator to- (a) move that Motion in the Senator’s stead; or (b) on conclusion of debate and before the question is put, to reply in the Senator’s stead”. Therefore, Sen. Malalah, I would like to know whether Standing Order No. 59(2) has been satisfied with. This is because I have not seen any written authorization."}
