We should delete the words “on the date of assent” and substitute with the words, “two days after gazettment”. The reason for this is that Article 116 of the Constitution requires gazettment and if we leave it the way it is, it will lead to further delay of 14 days while awaiting that assent. So, that is my proposal."}
