I would also want to talk about this Bill and specifically on the Pharmacy and Poisons Act, Cap. 244, which is what I understand more. The amendment to Cap 244 has come on time. The Pharmacy and Poisons Board has been operating for a long time in a manner that was not befitting, by not giving out results that we needed. In the current Bill, the Pharmacy and Poisons Board is being led by a registrar. At the same time, the same registrar works for the Ministry of Health as a pharmacist. We have now created two positions for two persons who will run separate bodies, namely, the Pharmacy and Poisons Board to be run by the CEO and not a registrar and the Director of Pharmaceutical Services in the Ministry of Health. This will ensure that the two bodies are distinct."}
