Standing Order No.25(1) states that:- “A Member who wishes to postpone to some future occasion the further discussion of a question which has been proposed from the Chair---“ The key words here are “which has been proposed”. Mr. Minister, you can only seek an adjournment of the debate after the Motion has been moved, seconded and proposed."}
