What is more worrying is that I saw, yesterday but one, a letter written by the American Senate to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In the letter, they were saying – and they are right – that the USA is the largest contributor to the IMF, which is true. They are also saying:- “We are allowing African countries to get into a debt trap or a debt snare from China and when they collapse, they will run to the IMF for money as the lender of last resort, which is our money.”"}
