Raila’s Motion by inserting a provision for establishment of a select committee to lead and coordinate the Constitution of Kenya review process following a stalemate in the appointment of commissioners to the Constitution of Kenya Review Commission (CKRC). The aim of the rescission was to enable the House to constitute a select committee that would spearhead discussions on the Constitution review process and unlock the then prevailing standoff that arose from the inability of the Attorney-General to convene a meeting following disagreement on nomination of Members of the CKRC which had condemned the process to abeyance."}
