We need data and there is a process to get it, so that all women that are affected are in a programme and can be taken care of. More importantly, this is a preventable condition. If we have proper obstetrics care, attending ante-natal clinics, delivering in situations where caesarean section can be done, this should not happen. I assure you that if we can go into universal healthcare, where every woman can deliver in a hospital, and where caesarean section can be done - and it can be done by any medical officer - we shall eliminate this problem."}
