Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me an opportunity to support this important Motion. Fistula is a very common disease affecting women. Most of them are in the village. They do not know what to do. It is becoming a very dangerous disease. It high time we took some of the things we discuss here seriously. Like HIV and cancer, fistula is a very serious disease, and we need to be serious about it. We also need to create awareness amongst our people. While in my constituency, I heard people talk about a disease but they gave it a name that suggested they did not know what they were talking about. We need to, first, create awareness on this disease."}
