The Vice-President and Minister for Home Affairs has implied that Members are not too clear about the difference between a Ministerial Statement and Ordinary Questions or Questions by Private Notice. I just want him to tell the House whether he is aware that according to the Standing Orders, before a Member has an opportunity to rise on a Ministerial Statement, he gets the clearance of the Chair. Is he, therefore, casting aspersions on the ability of the Chair to award that permission or what exactly does he mean?"}
