I think there is a problem with both propositions. He is proposing three years which is such a short time, although he is trying to say that we can have an extra term to amount to six years, but even five years is such a short time. In fact, it is only Vice chancellors that we are giving one term. In the Constitution, governors have 10 years. I think the Chair of the Committee should have amended further what we have in the Bill and say, a Vice Chancellor of Public university shall hold office for… One term of five years is terrible. Five years is not enough for a Vice Chancellor to do anything meaningful. No office can talk about five years, they do 10 years. That makes sense."}
