We know very well that audit exercises are questions of resources. We have not appropriated resources to the Auditor-General to continue undertaking further audits that we are requesting. We are being unfair to the Auditor-General. The current Auditor-General of this country, Mr. Edward Ouko, is probably one of the most competent auditors in Africa. Therefore, as a House, we should not come here to begin to doubt the reports that have been tabled here by our Auditor- General simply because we want to protect certain interests."}
