We want to give the Director-General some bit of independence. Secondly, most constitutional commissions provide a term of six years. I wanted to harmonise this term with the ones of the constitutional commissions. I spoke to the Chair and he has no issues with the amendment. I seek the support of the House to amend Clause 19 as indicated in the Order Paper."}
