(2) A person shall be qualified for appointment as a chairperson under subsection (1)(a) or a member under subsection (1)(f) and (g) if that person— (a) is a citizen of Kenya; (b) holds a degree from a university recognized in Kenya in any of the following fields— (i) engineering; (ii) physical sciences; (iii) law; (iv) finance; (v) economics; or (vi) energy; (vii) any other relevant degree. (c) has had at least seven years relevant professional and managerial experience; (d) is a member in good standing of the relevant professional association; and (e) meets the requirements set out in Chapter Six of the Constitution.
