Our people sit and make expenditure decisions that maximise their welfare based on the NG-CDF. It has also enhanced local ownership of development projects. Every village, ward and division can own its development agenda through the NG-CDF today. It enhances local ownership of development projects. It also increased public participation. It is the people who decide whether to build a school, buy desks or pay bursaries. The local public participation is envisioned in the Constitution and is stipulated in the NG-CDF Act, 2015."}
