In fact, my ID card reads ‘Nairobi,’ because I had to come to Nairobi; and I kept going back and forth to get any identification document. I can, therefore, relate to this issue. Mr. Speaker, Sir, people in northern and other parts of Kenya are even worst hit. In Isiolo, for instance, we have a huge backlog based on verification. I do not know what is being verified, but a child whose parents have ID cards and birth certificates still has to go through a very lengthy process of verification.
