It is the same case I have witnessed in North Mugirango Constituency. There is a road to be constructed all the way from Migori to Kisumu. The Government wants people evicted, but no compensation has been done. I hope the Committee will consider moving an amendment to the Act, so that we put in black and white that a project should not commence before owners of land are paid."}
